WELCOME TO HIRST LAW GROUP, P.C.

sl-badge-blue

We are a nationally recognized and award-winning law firm that specializes in representing whistleblowers under the federal and state False Claims Acts and other whistleblower statutes, and representing clients who have been retaliated against for blowing the whistle.

Hirst Law Group, P.C., files cases nationwide to recover government funds lost as a result of fraud and to ensure protection of our clients’ rights.  We have had success in large and small cases involving all kinds of fraud against the government, such as health care fraud, pharmaceutical fraud, contract fraud, grant fraud, SEC fraud, tax fraud, and many others, as well as cases to fight retaliation against our whistleblower clients.

In False Claims Act cases, a private citizen who knows of fraud committed against the government may file a lawsuit under seal—the lawsuit documents are literally sealed by the court and are not accessible to the public—to recover the losses caused by the fraud. The False Claims Act provides substantial rewards in such cases.  Whistleblowers are entitled to between 15% and 30% of the total case recovery, including treble damages (triple the amount of loss caused by the fraud) and penalties.  In addition, whistleblowers can recover for retaliation taken against them by their employers and others.

Hirst Law Group, P.C., has a team ready to evaluate your whistleblower case and apply our expertise to make it successful.  Our team includes a former federal prosecutor who supervised False Claims Act and other fraud cases, and a former government auditor.  Our firm is small enough to give your case personal attention, yet large enough and experienced enough to achieve great success and earn a national reputation for excellence.
